How fun, today I’ve hosted a brunch for my girlfriends. I just love brunches – the perfect mixture of sweet and savory and the best of both breakfast and lunch. We’ve had have scheduled for 10am-1pm, so we would have enough time to eat and hang out.

In today’s brunch I have served:

  • To drink: Coffee, English Breakfast Tea, Orange Juice and Mimosas.
  • To eat: Chocolate chip muffins, pancakes, omelets, yogurt parfait, french toast and macaroons.

I chose to serve finger foods, so the guests were able to try out everything. The yogurt parfait was served in dessert glasses, french toast bites had individual sirup servings for dipping, but my favorites were the Mini Pancake Stacks sprinkled with sirup.

I am a big fan of mimosas, for those who don’t know the recipe, is pretty simple: 1/2 champagne and 1/2 orange juice. Mix and serve in champagne glasses. Done!

To decorate the table, I’ve used a mix of breakfast and lunch tableware. Lots os crystals, coffee cup, water glasses, champaign glasses. And because I was using very delicate elements and also the bread plate, I decided to use round paper doilies instead of place mats, and I loved the final look.

……..

Amei o resultado final!
